“It is alleged that the victim and complainant Nhlanhla Kunene, who does towing services, got a call to pick and tow a car in that area,” Captain Muthan said. “He went to the corner of South Africa Drive and Malibongwe where the caller was waiting.  [Two people took out firearms and pointed them at him. Suddenly, the robbers were joined by their two armed accomplices. They allegedly went into the car, sat on the passenger sides and ordered Kunene to drive.”

They then drove till Braamfischer in Soweto and at that time he was told not to report to the police or else he would be killed.  Later they dropped him off from the car and put him in a taxi to Joburg where he contacted his brother to come and pick him up.”
