Chivas toasts new season with man united drinks kit

whisky maker and Manchester United partner Chivas has launched a new ‘Cheers from Home’ campaign for the new football season.

Delivering matchday kits to football and whisky fans to toast the new campaign, the initiative will begin in time for the second weekend of top flight fixtures - after Manchester United’s first game of the new season was postponed to give players a rest after their extended Europa League duties in Germany in August.

The brand enlisted United legend Andrew Cole to front the campaign, which the brand hopes will bring the pre-game bar experience into fans homes by providing everything they need to create the perfect Chivas Highball at home.

Nick Blacknell, Chivas Marketing Director said: “With football fans across the country unable to head back into stadiums to support their team, we wanted to provide them with an at-home experience to bring a little extra to match day.

Our ‘Cheers from Home Delivery Service’ isn’t a replacement for the live stadium experience, but we hope football fans will still enjoy all the match day drama, with a dram.”

The kit includes glasses, as well as whisky, ice and garnish, and will also feature a limited edition Manchester United version available exclusively in Manchester.
